McCall-Thomas Engineering Company, Inc. is hiring a (Contract or Regular full-time hire) Aerial Fiber Designer for full-time onsite work in our Orangeburg, SC office.

As a McCall-Thomas Aerial Fiber Designer, you will be working alongside a team of dedicated individuals committed to our mission of providing quality solutions and services to each of our clients. Primary responsibilities for this role:

 

• Offer technical assistance in drawing analysis, fiber optic network design, fiber splice plans, cable duct and routing, etc.

• Ensure quick, fast, and secure fiber optics communication

• Continually update and upgrade existing communication systems 

• Research different types of Optical Signals

• Chart preliminary plans before integrating new hardware with existing systems

• Identity and rectify any issues related to permits, zoning, and other matters that may affect the project

• Examine drawing sequences and presentation, sizing of system components and fiber optic cable plans and refine rough sketches

• Create documentation to address potential issues among technical staff during the installation process or upgrades

 

Pay range starts at $50,000/yr., and is commensurate with experience.
 

What Will You Need:

• Minimum five years of ADSS Aerial Fiber Design experience

• Ability to work Mondays-Thursdays (4x10 schedule)
