McCall-Thomas Engineering Company, Inc. is hiring a (Contract or Regular full-time hire) Aerial Fiber Designer for full-time onsite work in our Orangeburg, SC office.
As a McCall-Thomas Aerial Fiber Designer, you will be working alongside a team of dedicated individuals committed to our mission of providing quality solutions and services to each of our clients. Primary responsibilities for this role:

Offer technical assistance in drawing analysis, fiber optic network design, fiber splice plans, cable duct and routing, etc.

Ensure quick, fast, and secure fiber optics communication

Continually update and upgrade existing communication systems

Research different types of Optical Signals

Chart preliminary plans before integrating new hardware with existing systems

Identity and rectify any issues related to permits, zoning, and other matters that may affect the project

Examine drawing sequences and presentation, sizing of system components and fiber optic cable plans and refine rough sketches

Create documentation to address potential issues among technical staff during the installation process or upgrades
Pay range starts at $50,000/yr., and is commensurate with experience.
What Will You Need:

Minimum five years of ADSS Aerial Fiber Design experience

Ability to work Mondays-Thursdays (4x10 schedule)
