McCall-Thomas Engineering Company is hiring Communications Field Technicians to work in Georgia and SC. Overnight travel may be required within this territory.

 

As a McCall-Thomas Communications Field Technician, you will be joining a team of dedicated individuals committed to our mission of providing quality solutions and services to each of our clients. This full-time employee will be working primarily on long-term projects for our telecommunications customers within SC and eastern Georgia. The responsibilities for this role include: 

• Reading schematics

• Being familiar with RUS (Rural Utility Service) Units and Practices

• Staking of fiber optic buried and aerial cable (hand drawn staking sheets and electronic)

• Inspection of fiber optic construction (buried and aerial)

• Tabulation of staking sheets

• Knowledge of Elation software a plus

 

What Will You Need:

• High school diploma

• Strong computer skills

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to travel/overnight stays may be required
