Testing of High, Medium, and Low voltage electrical power equipment including but not limited to Circuit Breakers, Regulators, Transformers, and Switchgear.

Operating test equipment including but not limited to Power Factor Tester, Ductor, Megger, Hi-Pot, AC/DC volt-ohm-millimeters, and various kinds of hand-held power and non-power tools related to the power industry.

• Ensures safety practices are observed by all crews during their work
• Establishing OSHA and Customer Safety Requirements
• Stringing New Wire or Maintaining Old Wire
• Climb power poles, perform work off of hooks

• Leads on various size projects
• Ensures accuracy of timesheets and expense reports
• Monitors quality assurance and ensures installations meet customer specifications and industry standards.
• Ensures safety practices are observed by all crew members

• Work as a part of an aerial fiber telecom line crew
• Load, unload, layout and prep tools/supplies/equipment/materials needed at each job site
• Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Lineman, Lead, or Supervisor
• Handle physically demanding construction duties as needed

The primary responsibilities for this role will include Central Office Engineering, Outside Plant Network Design, Fiber Route/Equipment Planning and Construction/Project Management.
