Immediate opening for an Electric Power Systems Engineer performing system planning, studies and design for Electric Utilities.  Candidate should have a BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university, 7+ years’ experience in the Electric Utility industry and be a licensed Professional Engineer. Successful candidate must have knowledge in the area of power system engineering, applicable regulations, standards, codes, power system analysis software and have the ability to apply engineering principles to identify and resolve complex issues. 

 

Candidate must be familiar with RUS Standards, Construction Work Plans, Long Range Plans requirements, codes and procedures.  Successful candidate must also be familiar with project management concepts and demonstrate ability to plan, prioritize, schedule, and coordinate multiple projects. Excellent communications skills and rapport with clients is essential. Successful candidate must have ability to prepare detailed engineering studies and reports and make oral presentations.
